Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant, serving students from Pre-K through 12th grade for the 26/27 school year. Enjoy the chance to support learners in a school setting located near Fall River Mills, CA, with a manageable caseload and potential for flexible scheduling. Elementary school hours are slightly shorter than the main school day of 8:00 AM to 3:15 PM, allowing for work-life balance. For candidates credentialed as an SLPA, a similar caseload is available—primarily elementary-aged students—under direct supervision of the lead SLP.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Active state licensure as SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY, or SLPA (in-person). Experience in school-based settings preferred. Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, students, and families. Solid understanding of IEP development and the evaluation process. Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver speech and language therapy to a caseload of 15-20 students across Pre-K to 12th grade. Assess, diagnose, and treat students presenting a range of communication disorders. Maintain accurate documentation for progress monitoring and compliance with special education requirements. Work collaboratively to create and implement individualized treatment plans. For SLPA positions, carry out therapy interventions under the guidance and supervision of an SLP. Bring your expertise and enthusiasm to help students achieve their full communicative potential in an educational environment that values your contribution. If you are passionate about making a difference and eager to work in a supportive school community, we encourage you to submit your application today! Compensation for this position ranges from $47.53 to $67.53. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals.
