Job Description

Category Therapy - Skilled - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity providing speech-language therapy services for students during the Extended School Year (ESY) in the Fremont, CA area. This role is perfectly suited for experienced Speech-Language Pathologists passionate about supporting student growth in a dynamic school setting.
Key Qualifications:
Active California SLP license (CA SLP) Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) required Previous experience in pediatric therapy, ideally within a school or educational setting Expertise working with diverse student populations and a variety of communication needs Strong teamwork and communication skills to coordinate with faculty, families, and outside professionals Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and fostering a supportive, inclusive environment
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students as outlined in their individualized education plans (IEPs) during ESY Conduct assessments, develop treatment goals, and monitor student progress Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success Document services and progress in compliance with district and state requirements Participate in IEP meetings and offer clinical input on student development Adapt therapy techniques to meet varied communication needs and learning styles
