Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a difference in the lives of elementary students by providing speech-language services in a supportive school-based environment. This full-time, contract position offers a unique opportunity to work with a diverse caseload of approximately 45 students, with the added benefit of SLPA assistance. The assignment begins as soon as possible and continues through the end of this school year, with an option to stay for the full 2026/2027 school year.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology required Current CCC-SLP credential or eligibility; consideration for candidates in their CFY year Previous experience in school settings, pediatric caseloads, or healthcare environments preferred Knowledge of best practices for assessment and intervention in elementary populations Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Ability to work effectively with an SLPA and interdisciplinary teams
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with IEP goals Provide direct therapy services to elementary students with a variety of communication needs Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other support staff to promote student success Document progress, attend meetings, and maintain thorough records Supervise and support the SLPA in delivering high-quality services This role offers the chance to work in a welcoming school community and to impact students at a formative stage in their development.
