This contract opportunity is ideal for a driven and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) who thrives in pediatric and educational environments. Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in California ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong CFY candidates also considered Experience working with pediatric populations in healthcare or school settings is advantageous Strong diagnostic, therapy, and documentation skills Effective communicator with students, teachers, and families Ability to adapt therapy methods to meet diverse student needs
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students in grades Pre-K-12 Deliver direct and consultative therapy services in accordance with IEP goals Maintain accurate, timely records and progress notes Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student outcomes Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expert recommendations Engage with parents and caregivers to support carryover strategies and student success Stay current with best practices and compliance requirements in school-based therapy This contract assignment offers the chance to enhance your professional skills in a supportive environment surrounded by passionate educators.
