Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a real difference in the lives of students by inspiring communication growth and fostering success across a diverse school community. This fulfilling contract opportunity is ideal for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist with their CCC who thrives in dynamic settings. Enjoy an engaging part-time (27.5 hours per week) schedule, working onsite as an itinerant SLP, serving a broad range of ages from PreK to Adult in a supportive educational environment.
Qualifications and Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required Valid state licensure for Speech-Language Pathology Previous experience in a school-based setting strongly preferred Background in conducting evaluations and assessments for diverse student populations Comfortable traveling between multiple school sites as an itinerant provider Strong collaboration skills and flexibility to adapt to different learning environments
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver speech and language therapy services to students from preschool through adult programs Conduct thorough, individualized assessments and develop tailored treatment plans Collaborate with educators, parents, and other specialists to support students' social and academic growth Document progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings as needed Adapt therapeutic strategies to meet varied student needs and communicate effectively with teams As part of this impactful role, you'll benefit from a supportive network of fellow professionals, ongoing access to resources, and the chance to see your work make a lasting impact each day.
