Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity working within a supportive school environment near Fresno, CA, delivering speech-language pathology services that foster student growth and success. This specialized role is ideal for a clinician with a passion for helping students communicate and develop essential skills in an educational setting.
Qualifications and Experience:
Hold a valid Speech-Language Pathology license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC). Demonstrated experience providing speech and language therapy in a school environment. Comfortable working with students across diverse grade levels and backgrounds. Exceptional communication, organizational, and documentation skills. Ability to collaborate closely with educators, administrators, and families to support individual education plans (IEPs). Up-to-date knowledge of evidence-based practices and legal compliance related to special education.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver targeted speech and language interventions to students with identified communication needs. Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine eligibility and develop individualized treatment plans. Participate in IEP meetings, contributing expert input on speech-language goals and progress. Maintain thorough records, track student progress, and provide timely updates to staff and families. Adapt therapy approaches to address diverse communication challenges and ensure equitable education access. Consult and collaborate with school staff to integrate communication strategies within classroom environments.
