Job Description
Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into an impactful contract role supporting students' communication and language growth across all grade levels. This opportunity is designed for a Speech Language Pathologist, including SLP-CCC and SLP-CFY candidates, who are passionate about fostering student achievement in an educational environment. You'll provide services from preschool through post-secondary, offering essential support during the summer session. The position runs from June 15 to July 16, with a flexible 20-hour workweek (five hours per day over four days). Your caseload will consist of approximately 60 students, allowing you to build meaningful connections and deliver tailored interventions.
Qualifications & Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders State licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech Language Pathologist ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) or current Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status Prior experience with pediatric or school-based populations preferred Strong assessment, therapy planning, and documentation skills Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, students, and families Excellent organizational, time management, and communication abilitiesKey Responsibilities:
Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders Develop and implement personalized treatment plans Deliver direct speech therapy services to a diverse group of students, supporting IEP goals Maintain thorough, timely documentation and progress reports Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with educators and therapists Provide guidance to families and staff regarding communication strategies and resources Adapt approaches to meet the individual needs of students across age groups If you're ready to play a vital role in student success during the summer, don't miss this opportunity to make an immediate difference.
