Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in the Gridley, CA area for a committed professional ready to support elementary students. This 160-170 day contract position involves working at a single elementary site with an active caseload of approximately 40-45 students ranging from Transitional Kindergarten through 5th grade.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver direct and consultative speech-language pathology services to students with identified communication needs. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans focused on the specific goals outlined in students' Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student progress and generalize communication skills in the classroom setting. Conduct assessments, document progress, and maintain thorough records in compliance with district and state regulations. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute expertise to support student success.
Qualifications:
Valid California Speech-Language Pathologist license or eligibility. Experience working with elementary-aged children in a school setting. Strong understanding of speech and language disorders typical in early education. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Proficiency in conducting assessments, developing individualized plans, and delivering interventions.

Compensation:
