Job Description

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into a fulfilling, hands-on role supporting students from PreK through 8th grade as a Speech-Language Pathologist on a full-time contract assignment. This is an in-person opportunity requiring collaboration and adaptability to meet each learner's unique needs in an educational environment.
Key Qualifications:
Active California SLP credential required. ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) is essential. Several years of prior experience providing SLP services in school settings. Comfortable managing a diverse caseload ranging from preschoolers to middle school students. Strong communication skills for working closely with students, families, and interdisciplinary teams. Ability to conduct assessments, develop individualized education plans, and document progress effectively.
Core Responsibilities:
Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students in PreK through 8th grade. Conduct comprehensive assessments and ongoing progress monitoring. Design and implement effective, individualized treatment plans in alignment with IEP goals. Collaborate with educators, school staff, and families to foster optimal learning environments. Maintain accurate, timely records and participate in IEP meetings as needed. Support students in developing strong communication, social, and academic skills.
