Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Support students' communication and development by providing expert speech-language pathology services in a dynamic educational setting. This contract opportunity invites enthusiastic clinicians skilled in pediatric speech and language therapy to collaborate with a dedicated team, ensuring each student thrives academically and socially.
Qualifications and Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution Valid state SLP license (or eligibility) Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred; strong consideration for Clinical Fellows (CFY) Experience with pediatric populations in schools or healthcare environments Familiarity with assessment tools, IEP development, and evidence-based intervention strategies Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive evaluations of students' speech, language, and communication abilities Collaborate with teachers, families, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) Deliver direct and consultative therapy sessions tailored to each student's unique needs Maintain thorough documentation, including assessment results, progress notes, and compliance with local and federal guidelines Educate and support staff and parents, fostering inclusive and effective communication strategies for all learners Contribute to team meetings and participate in ongoing professional development This contracted role offers exposure to a varied student caseload in a supportive and enriching school environment.
