Job Description

SLP Job Summary:
Rising Star Sped Academy is seeking energetic, dedicated, and professional SLPs and CF-RPEs to join our team! This is a fantastic opportunity to build upon your speech-language pathology skills while advancing your SLP career. The job will entail providing speech therapy and rehabilitation services to students in Rising Star Sped Academy. You care about kids and are committed to helping each student make educational progress.
Job Responsibilities:
Help provide direct therapy. Assist with Conducting IEPs, evaluations, testing, and progress reports. Support students with mild to moderate diagnoses. Help conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess the speech, language, and cognitive communication of individuals with communication disorders. Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results, incorporating evidence-based interventions and goals tailored to each student's specific needs and abilities. Provide therapy sessions using various techniques and modalities to improve speech articulation, language comprehension and expression, voice quality, fluency, and social communication. Document concisely, accurately, and legibly all appropriate charting and paperwork. Follow ASHA guidelines for ethical and high-quality job performance.
Job Requirements:
Active state license as a speech-language pathologist or have applied. 6 months of SLP experience within the last 5 years
