Job Description

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A Speech Language Pathologist position is available at a school near Hemet, CA, offering a rewarding role supporting K-12 students. This contract opportunity is onsite, providing regular hours with 7.5-hour workdays that include a half-hour unpaid lunch break.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver speech-language therapy services to students from kindergarten through 12th grade. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's needs. Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress. Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including assessments and progress reports. Utilize teletherapy techniques when appropriate to enhance service delivery. Participate in ongoing professional development to remain current with best practices.
Qualifications:
Valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in California. Professional experience working in a school setting, ideally with a pediatric caseload. Knowledge of educational regulations and school-based therapy best practices. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Ability to engage effectively with children across a broad age range. Experience with teletherapy is a plus.
