Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Take your speech-language expertise to the next level in a vibrant school community near Indio, CA. This contract opportunity focuses on supporting PreK students within an onsite setting, where your skills will directly impact young learners and their families for the 2026-2027 school year. The role offers the possibility to explore itinerant assignments, working with a diverse caseload spanning mild to moderate needs, with some students requiring AAC device support. Ideal candidates possess strong clinical experience and are passionate about helping students achieve communication goals. The district is committed to bringing on professionals who are open to committing for more than a one-year assignment. Those seeking Clinical Fellowship (CF) opportunities are welcome, and bilingual Spanish skills are highly valued. While bilingualism is a plus, monolingual candidates will also be considered.
What We're Looking For:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology; valid CCC or eligibility required California Certificate of Clearance (COC) required prior to start Experience in school-based settings and familiarity with SEIS documentation preferred Exposure to CA Medicaid (Paradigm) processes is beneficial Flexibility to work onsite and willingness to adapt to itinerant schedules if needed Strong collaboration and communication skills, especially with PreK populations Bilingual Spanish strongly preferred; open to monolingual
