Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a fulfilling contract opportunity working directly with students from preschool through 8th grade in a dynamic educational setting. As the sole SLP on site, you will play a pivotal role in shaping communication skills, supporting diverse learners, and collaborating with passionate educators.
Desired Qualifications:
Valid California Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) credential ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) is required A minimum of a few years of school-based SLP experience Demonstrated skill in assessment, intervention, and progress monitoring for a range of ages and needs Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset Ability to engage effectively with students, staff, and families
Key Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive speech, language, and communication services to students across PreK-8th grades Develop individualized treatment plans and document student progress Conduct screenings, evaluations, and re-evaluations for new and returning students Collaborate with classroom teachers, resource staff, and parents/guardians to support each student's educational growth Participate in IEP meetings and provide professional input to contribute to student success Maintain accurate records in compliance with state and federal guidelines Enjoy a role that lets you see the direct impact of your expertise while working full time in-person.
