Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Located in the scenic community of June Lake, CA, this contract position offers a unique opportunity for an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide essential services in a school setting. This role is ideal for professionals passionate about supporting pediatric and school-aged populations with speech and language disorders.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive evaluations of students presenting with speech and language challenges. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's needs. Deliver therapy sessions focused on achieving targeted speech and language outcomes. Maintain detailed documentation to track progress and inform ongoing treatment. Collaborate effectively with teachers, counselors, and other multidisciplinary team members to ensure integrated care. Involve and educate families to enhance therapy effectiveness and support.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program. Current state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure in California. Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred. Experience working with pediatric and/or school-aged populations highly desirable. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.
Licensing Requirements:
Active license approved by the State Board of Speech Language Pathology in California. Possession or pursuit of a Master's degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology.
