Desired Skills & Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current California SLP license and ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP) or CFY applicants considered Previous experience in school-based settings is highly desirable Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal abilities Compassionate mindset and a creative, solutions-oriented approach Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
Assess students' speech, language, and communication needs using standardized tools Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) Deliver targeted, evidence-based therapy in both group and one-on-one settings Document progress, maintain accurate records, and provide regular updates to staff and families Collaborate with teachers and other educational professionals to support student success in the classroom Participate in IEP meetings, contributing expertise to guide individualized planning Offer prevention, intervention, and consultative services as needed
