Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact in students' lives by stepping in as a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) for the remainder of the school year. An unexpected medical leave has created an immediate need for a dedicated professional to provide crucial support to a diverse student population. This is a contract opportunity, Monday through Friday—40 hours each week—located in a welcoming environment where your expertise will be valued and your collaboration with educators and families will drive student success.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Active Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) Valid state SLP licensure (or eligibility to obtain) Experience providing speech and language services in a school setting strongly preferred Strong interpersonal skills with a teamwork-oriented attitude Commitment to supporting a wide range of student needs and backgrounds
Responsibilities:
Deliver direct therapy services to students with communication disorders, both individually and in groups Conduct assessments, develop IEP goals, and track student progress Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and families for optimal student outcomes Contribute to multidisciplinary meetings and participate in IEP development Maintain accurate and timely documentation according to school and district requirements Provide consultations to staff and families regarding speech and language needs In this position, you will experience the rewarding challenges and professional growth that come from nurturing students' communication skills.
