Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a meaningful difference supporting elementary students as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a dynamic educational setting near Lake Hughes, CA. This is a contract opportunity working with a diverse range of learners in grades TK through 5th. You'll provide vital speech services, helping students reach their communication potential alongside a supportive staff.
Key Qualifications:
SLP credentials, with SLP-CCC and school-based experience preferred Comfortable serving general education through moderate/severe needs Skilled in providing direct speech/language services, conducting IEPs, and performing thorough assessments and evaluations Experience or comfort working with a caseload averaging around 60 students CTC credential is preferred, but not required
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver speech-language therapy and intervention services for elementary students Manage a well-balanced caseload across a spectrum of communication needs Conduct comprehensive evaluations and write clear, accurate assessment reports Develop, implement, and monitor individualized plans and IEP goals Collaborate effectively with teachers, families, and other educational professionals Maintain timely documentation and contribute to ongoing student support This contract position offers 37.5 hours per week, ensuring you can maintain work-life balance while making a notable impact in the school community. You'll be based primarily at Rosamond Elementary School, serving a friendly and welcoming student body.
