Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Exciting opportunity available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with CCC certification to support students for the remainder of the academic year. This full-time, contract position offers a chance to make a significant impact in a school-based setting, covering for an SLP who is on medical leave. You'll collaborate with educators and parents to help students unlock their communication potential and participate more fully in their education.
Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) Valid state licensure as an SLP Experience working in K-12 education settings preferred Strong communication and organizational skills Adaptability, compassion, and a positive, student-centered approach
Key Responsibilities:
Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for students with communication disorders Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) Collaborate closely with teachers, special education staff, and parents/families Document student progress and maintain thorough, timely records Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to student success strategies Offer support and resources to staff to maximize student inclusion and participation This role ensures a consistent, supportive presence for students and staff during a time of transition. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 hours per day, aligning with the standard school week until the close of the academic calendar.
