Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic educational environment as a Speech Language Pathologist, working a contract assignment for the 2026-2027 school year. Deliver meaningful speech and language therapy to students, collaborate with dedicated colleagues, and support diverse learners on their communication journey. With a Monday through Friday schedule from 7:30AM to 4PM, you'll have consistency, along with the rewarding experience of seeing your students progress throughout the academic year. School begins August 6th, with the assignment running from August 3, 2026, to May 28, 2027.
Qualifications and Experience Sought:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders Valid SLP license for California or eligibility to obtain SLP-CCC or CFY status welcomed Experience providing SLP services in a K-12 school setting preferred Proficiency in assessment, IEP documentation, and developing individualized treatment plans Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational skills

Deliver direct speech-language therapy to a caseload of approximately 50-60 students Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized goals to support student needs Maintain thorough documentation and contribute to IEP meetings as a team member Consult and collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to maximize student outcomes Provide support and guidance for students with speech, language, or communication challenges Adapt interventions to meet diverse learner needs across multiple school sites Enjoy the benefits of a structured workday, opportunities for professional collaboration, and the satisfaction of contributing to student success in a supportive school environment.
