Job Description

Category Schools - SLP - CFY Job Type Contract Empower students to reach their communication goals in a dynamic educational setting! This contract role provides the opportunity to support learners in a variety of locations and classroom environments near Long Beach, CA. Work with schools offering specialized healthcare, Moderate/Severe Special Day Classes (SDC), and Mild to Moderate programs, making a daily impact as a Speech-Language Pathologist Clinical Fellow.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders Current or eligible for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status Licensure or ability to obtain licensure as an SLP in California Familiarity with school settings and diverse student populations preferred Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to collaborate within multidisciplinary teams
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver speech and language therapy services to students with varying needs, from mild to severe Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans Maintain case documentation, prepare progress reports, and participate in IEP meetings Provide consultative support to teachers, support staff, and families Adapt therapy methodologies for specialized classrooms, including Specialized Healthcare and SDC settings Foster an inclusive, supportive learning environment for all students
