Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact as a Speech-Language Pathologist working in a supportive school environment this June. This contract opportunity is designed for professionals passionate about helping students communicate and thrive in their educational journey. This assignment spans from June 9 through June 30, offering a structured experience with 25 hours per week. Step into a dynamic atmosphere where your expertise with school-age populations is valued. Candidates who hold SLP-CCC credentials and have direct school-based SLP experience will be best prepared to make the most of this rewarding short-term role.
Key Qualifications:
Valid Speech-Language Pathology license and SLP-CCC certification Demonstrated experience working within a school or pediatric setting Familiarity with IEP processes, speech and language assessments, and progress reports Strong communication skills to collaborate with educators, staff, and families
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct speech and language assessments for students and contribute to IEP planning Develop and deliver targeted therapy sessions both individually and in groups Maintain detailed and timely documentation of student progress Communicate evaluation results and therapy updates effectively with teams and families Adapt therapy strategies to meet diverse student needs within school guidelines Selected candidates will receive competitive pay at $135 per hour, reflecting the specialized skills and commitment required for this assignment.
