Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a significant impact in the lives of students as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP). This opportunity serves a diverse school-based population, supporting children in their communication, language, and learning needs. Collaborate with dedicated educational professionals and contribute your expertise in a welcoming academic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders within a school setting Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and track student progress toward goals Consult and collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to integrate therapy strategies into classroom activities Maintain accurate documentation for assessments, treatment plans, and progress reports Provide both direct and consultative services, adapting techniques to meet each student's needs Participate in IEP meetings and share recommendations for appropriate accommodations or modifications
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Valid California SLP license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required Previous experience in a school environment highly preferred Strong understanding of special education procedures and IEP processes Demonstrated ability in organizing caseloads and managing time effectively Excellent interpersonal and communication skills This contract role offers you the chance to work in a supportive school community and make a daily difference in students' lives.
