Job Description

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A contract opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support students in a school setting located in Martinez, CA. This role focuses on providing targeted speech and language services to support academic and communication development for school-aged children.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct speech and language evaluations to identify student needs Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evaluation results Collaborate with educators and parents to support student progress Document and maintain accurate records of student performance and services provided Participate in meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions as needed Qualifications /
Desired Experience:
Valid California licensure or certification as an SLP or SLPA with school experience Demonstrated ability to work effectively with school-aged children in an educational setting Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with staff and families Knowledge of speech and language development in school environments Ability to work independently under contract terms
