Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students in a school-based environment near Merced, CA. This position calls for a passionate Speech-Language Pathologist to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children by addressing speech and language challenges within an educational setting.
Your daily impact will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify speech and language disorders Designing and implementing individualized therapy plans tailored to student needs Leading purposeful therapy sessions that align with each student's speech and language goals Tracking and thoroughly documenting progress to ensure positive outcomes Collaborating closely with teachers, support staff, and related service providers to foster holistic care Involving and educating families to enhance and reinforce therapy strategies at home Qualifications for success in this role: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution Current state licensure or ability to secure the necessary license Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) is preferred, though Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates are welcome Previous experience with pediatric and/or school-aged students preferred Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as an engaged team member Eligible candidates must have an active State Board-approved license in Speech-Language Pathology and a Master's degree or higher in the field.
