Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding role supporting elementary students for the 2026-2027 school year as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) in a contract, full-time position. In this close-knit, small district near Milpitas, you'll make a genuine difference by delivering meaningful services in a collaborative educational environment. This opportunity allows you to develop impactful connections with students, teachers, and families throughout the academic year.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Current and valid Speech-Language Pathology license in California Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) required Previous experience working in elementary school settings is highly valued Strong collaboration and communication skills for working with multidisciplinary teams Ability to create individualized treatment plans and track student progress Organizational skills to manage student caseloads and documentation effectively
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct speech-language therapy services to elementary-aged students Complete assessments, evaluations, and develop IEPs in accordance with district and state guidelines Collaborate closely with educators, support staff, and families for integrative service delivery Maintain accurate records and progress notes for all students on your caseload Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional insight on student development Offer guidance and recommendations to support students' communication in classroom settings This position offers the chance to thrive professionally in a welcoming district that values innovative speech and language support.
