Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a fulfilling role where your expertise in speech-language pathology makes a daily difference for students in a dynamic school environment. As part of this contract opportunity, you will work closely with a team of dedicated educators and therapists, providing essential support to boost communication, language comprehension, and overall academic outcomes for students.
Key Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Valid SLP license or eligibility to obtain in California Experience in a school-based setting highly valued Strong understanding of IEP processes and documentation Excellent communication and collaboration skills Ability to engage effectively with students, families, and staff
Core Responsibilities:
Conduct speech, language, and hearing screenings as needed Administer evaluations and interpret assessment results Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) in line with state and federal guidelines Provide direct therapy services to students with speech, language, and communication challenges Monitor student progress, maintaining thorough documentation Collaborate with teachers, counselors, parents, and other service providers Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and professional development Take advantage of the flexibility and satisfaction that comes from making a tangible impact on students' growth and success.
