Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Experience a rewarding opportunity working with students as a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist in a dynamic educational environment. Your knowledge in pediatric speech-language pathology and familiarity with school-based practices will be instrumental in supporting children with a variety of communication needs. You will work with diverse caseloads, utilizing the latest resources and strategies to foster student growth and self-confidence.
Qualifications & Required Background:
Master's degree from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program Active or eligible for California SLP licensure Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcome Experience with pediatric populations and understanding of school-based SLP services Strong collaboration skills to partner with teachers, parents, and other professionals
Your Primary Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in students Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) Provide direct and consultative therapy in individual and small group settings Maintain thorough records of student progress and provide detailed reports Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate on multidisciplinary teams Educate and offer guidance to families and school staff on strategies for improving communication skills This contract position near Mountain View, CA allows you to engage with a vibrant school community while expanding your professional skills.
