Job Description
The Speech Therapist assesses patients for speech related therapy needs, establishes treatment goals, develops and implements appropriate Speech Pathology treatment program. This role reviews medical history, applies screening tests, and meets with patient to determine clinical needs, impairments, functional limitation and disabilities.
- Establishes a plan of care in collaboration with patient and family to include expected intensity, duration of therapy and makes recommendations for discharge.
- Provides education to patient, family, and/or caregiver regarding purpose of activity, use of equipment, home exercise, and activity.
- Performs regular re-examinations and seeks feedback from patient, family, and multidisciplinary medical team.
- Manages multiple patients at the same time. Provides services and required documentation timely, accurately, and in accordance with professional and regulatory standards. Eighteen (18) months of experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Experience and knowledge base in a wide range of diagnosis including general medicine, orthopedics, neurology, cardiopulmonary, gastroenterology, and otolaryngology.
Pay:
$60.00- $65.
