Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make an immediate impact as an onsite Speech-Language Pathologist supporting elementary students for a full school year. This contract-based opportunity is located near Nipomo, CA, and offers the chance to work in two elementary settings: three days at one location and two days at another. You'll work with students exhibiting mild to moderate speech and language needs and manage a caseload of approximately 55 students. Supervision is provided for Clinical Fellows, offering mentorship and strong support. Qualifications & Desired Skills:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Active licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Eligibility for Clinical Fellowship welcomed; on-site supervision provided Previous experience in a school setting with elementary students preferred Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills Ability to manage a mild to moderate caseload
Responsibilities:
Deliver diagnostic and therapeutic services to elementary-aged students Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to ensure student success Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines Serve on multidisciplinary teams and participate in IEP meetings Provide support exclusively as an SLP (no SLPA coverage required) This role offers stability for the full school year with potential for future assignments in the district for the following academic year.
