Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A contract opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) serving a school environment in Ontario, CA, with specific assignments also in Azusa, CA. This position focuses on providing speech and language services to pediatric students during the 2026-2027 school year. Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is required, enabling effective communication with a diverse student population.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
Current Speech-Language Pathology Certification (CCC) and eligibility or status as a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidate. Experience delivering speech therapy in school settings, including teletherapy services. Expertise working with pediatric populations in both educational and healthcare environments. Strong bilingual communication skills in Spanish and English.
Location:
Primary assignment in Ontario, CA, with potential sessions or responsibilities in Azusa, CA.
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations to identify student needs. Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on assessment results and educational goals. Collaborate closely with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress. Deliver therapy sessions in-person and through teletherapy platforms when applicable. Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with school district guidelines and regulations.
