Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic school-based environment for the 2026/27 academic year as a valued Speech Therapist! This contract opportunity is perfect for those energized by working with diverse K-12 students and dedicated to fostering positive communication outcomes. Whether you're an SLP-CCC or a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidate, your expertise and enthusiasm will be highly appreciated. As a full-time team member over the 186-day academic calendar, you will collaborate with educators and families to create supportive learning experiences for students throughout the school district. This role offers a welcoming context for new graduates to develop their professional skills, alongside a network of seasoned professionals ready to support your growth.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program California SLP License or eligibility to obtain prior to the start date
ASHA CCC-SLP
certification, or CFY status for new graduates Passion and commitment to working with K-12 students Effective communication, organizational, and collaboration skills Positive attitude and adaptability in a dynamic school setting
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct evaluations, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and deliver therapy to students in the district Work closely with general and special education staff, as well as families, to ensure student progress Maintain timely and accurate student records and documentation Participate in team meetings, IEP reviews, and ongoing professional development Adapt services to meet the unique needs of each student and school community Experience the fulfillment of helping every child find their voice while building your own professional achievements.
