Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students' communication growth in a vibrant, school-based setting. This full-time position is located near Palo Alto, CA, and is perfect for a dedicated speech-language pathologist (SLP) ready to make a meaningful impact across a diverse student population. You'll bring your expertise to a collaborative team focused on improving life skills and academic outcomes through high-quality speech and language services.
Requirements and Skills:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program. Active California SLP licensure or eligibility to obtain. Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) consideration. Experience with pediatric populations, ideally in school-based or healthcare settings. Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and delivering remote services. Ability to tailor support for a range of communication disorders and IEP needs. SLPA supervision or experience with SLPA collaboration is a plus. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with students, staff, and families.
Key Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders for students from diverse backgrounds. Develop and implement personalized treatment plans and interventions. Maintain accurate records, progress reports, and contribute to IEP meetings. Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to optimize each student's progress. Provide both in-person and teletherapy services as required. Support and mentor SLPA team members if applicable.
