Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a difference this upcoming school year as a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist supporting elementary students in a dynamic educational setting near Palo Alto, CA. This full-time contract opportunity for the full 2026/2027 school year offers the chance to empower young learners, working collaboratively in a supportive school community dedicated to student growth. Ideal candidates will bring expertise in speech and language development within school environments and demonstrate a passion for working with pediatric populations. Those considering their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) are welcome to apply, as well as seasoned SLP-CCC professionals.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active California SLP license (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred-CFY candidates encouraged
  • Strong background in pediatric and school-based SLP services
  • Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
  • Experience managing elementary caseloads highly desirable
Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess and evaluate students' speech, language, and communication needs
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans
  • Provide direct speech and language therapy to elementary students
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and school staff to support student progress
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to documentation and goal tracking
