School Speech and Language Pathologist | Palo Alto, California Sunbelt Staffing - 3.8 Palo Alto, CA Job Details Full-time | Contract $45 - $95 an hour 2 hours ago Qualifications Master's degree in speech-language pathology (SLP) Master's degree Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology Speech-Language Pathology License Full Job Description Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Bring your expertise in speech-language pathology to an enriching school environment supporting students from preK through 8th grade. Multiple contract opportunities are available for experienced SLPs, with a strong preference for those who are bilingual in Spanish. You'll work during standard school hours (8:00am-4:00pm), providing full-time support throughout the 26/27 academic year in a collaborative educational setting.
Qualifications:
Valid Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) license in California. Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required. Experience working in schools with a diverse student population. Strong preference for bilingual SLPs (Spanish/English). Comfortable working with students from preK to 8th grade. Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills. Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and other service providers.Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of students' speech, language, communication, and swallowing skills. Develop and implement individualized therapy plans aligned with students' IEPs and educational goals. Provide direct therapy services, individually and in group settings, within a single school. Participate in multidisciplinary education meetings and collaborate on intervention strategies. Maintain timely, accurate documentation for services provided. Communicate regularly with families, teachers, and staff regarding student progress. Contribute to an inclusive, supportive, and positive learning environment.
