Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a difference in students' lives throughout the upcoming 26/27 school year by providing essential speech and language services to children from preschool through 8th grade. This is a full-time, contract opportunity near Palo Alto, CA, offering 37.5 hours per week and flexibility to work with a diverse range of age groups. Multiple positions are available, and professionals who are bilingual are especially encouraged to apply, though all qualified candidates will be considered.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Current SLP-CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) from ASHA Valid (or eligible for) state licensure in California for Speech-Language Pathology Previous school-based experience preferred, but strong clinical skills and new graduates are welcome Bilingual abilities are an asset, but not required Strong communication and collaboration skills
Responsibilities:
Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students identified through child find and ongoing evaluation, from preschool through 8th grade Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student progress and growth Maintain compliance with all state and federal regulations regarding documentation and service delivery Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and actively contribute to student support teams Adapt intervention strategies to meet students' unique needs and cultural backgrounds
