Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract role as an in-person Speech-Language Pathologist serving one dynamic elementary site for the 2026-2027 school year. Make a meaningful impact supporting TK-5th grade students near Petaluma, CA, collaborating with educators and families to foster communication growth and student success. Experience a stable Monday-Friday schedule, working 8 AM to 3 PM for a total of 35 hours each week.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Valid SLP license in California Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) Previous school-based experience preferred, with a passion for elementary-age children Familiarity with IEP documentation, progress reporting, and individualized intervention planning Strong collaborative, communication, and organizational skills
Responsibilities:
Provide direct speech and language therapy to students in grades TK-5th Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and monitor student progress Participate in IEP meetings and maintain all required documentation Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to deliver holistic student care Deliver engaging therapy sessions tailored to individual student goals Support a positive and inclusive learning environment
