Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students' communication needs as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist near Richmond, CA. This role makes a significant impact by working directly with students to help them achieve their fullest potential in a collaborative educational environment. Earn between $60-$80 per hour while advancing your career in a supportive setting. What we're looking for: Valid California Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license or eligibility for licensure Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong Clinical Fellows will be considered Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting is a plus Strong assessment, evaluation, and intervention skills Excellent communication, organization, and teamwork abilities What you'll do: Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments Develop, implement, and document individualized treatment plans and IEP goals Deliver direct and consultative therapy services to students with diverse speech and language challenges Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to optimize student success Participate in IEP meetings and maintain compliance with all special education requirements Maintain accurate records of services, progress notes, and related documentation You'll thrive in a setting where your expertise is valued and your positive impact is felt daily.
