Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A contract Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in Rio Linda, CA, serving K-12 students in an in-person school setting. This role offers the opportunity to work with a diverse student population, providing specialized speech and language support with caseloads tailored to your experience and preferences. Heavy caseloads are supported by Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) to ensure effective service delivery.
Key responsibilities include:
Assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and communication disorders in K-12 students. Collaborating with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs). Maintaining detailed documentation and progress reports in compliance with state and district regulations. Participating in team meetings and professional development opportunities. Providing direct therapy services within the school environment.
Qualifications and experience desired:
Certified Speech-Language Pathologist with CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence). Valid School Speech-Language Pathologist certification. Current NPI and California Teaching Credential (CTC). Experience working in K-12 educational settings preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Full-time hours:
37.5 hours per week. Onsite work with in-person service delivery. Multiple openings available.
