Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into an opportunity to make a lasting impact on young learners, supporting their communication and language development in a welcoming, collaborative elementary school environment. This in-person, contract-based position is ideal for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with their Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC), focused on fostering student progress and confidence alongside passionate educators.
Key Qualifications:
SLP licensure and active Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) Previous experience providing speech and language services in school settings, especially with elementary-age students Strong skills in assessment, intervention, and collaborating with teachers and families Excellent communication, organization, and record-keeping abilities Enthusiasm for working with diverse student populations and creating a positive impact
Role Highlights:
Provide in-person speech and language therapy to elementary students, three days per week Conduct screenings, assessments, and develop individualized intervention plans aligned with student needs and IEP goals Work closely with classroom teachers, case managers, and parents to support generalization of skills and facilitate student inclusion Maintain timely documentation and progress reports in accordance with school and state regulations Serve as a valued member of multidisciplinary teams during the 2026-2027 school year This role offers the chance to thrive in a supportive school setting, where your expertise is valued, and your contributions directly shape each student's success.
