Qualifications and Experience:
Valid Speech-Language Pathology license or eligibility in the state of California Proven experience working with pediatric populations Competency in delivering speech and language therapy to students at all educational levels (Pre-K, elementary, middle, and high school) Ability to assess, develop, and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) Strong communication skills with students, families, and school staff Adaptability and creativity in managing a diverse caseload Previous school-based experience is highly desirable
Key Responsibilities:
Provide screening, evaluation, and intervention services to students with speech and language disorders Develop individualized therapy plans tailored to student needs Collaborate with classroom teachers, special educators, and families for comprehensive care Track student progress and update goals as needed Maintain thorough and accurate documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines Attend IEP meetings and contribute to the team-based planning process Offer education and support to families and staff regarding speech and language development Working in this dynamic contract environment allows you to use your talents where they matter most—helping students find their voice and flourish in school and beyond.
