2026-2027 School Year Position Overview We are seeking a motivated and student-centered Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a supportive school district in Centralia, Washington. This role involves working with K-12 students to assess, diagnose, and provide treatment for speech, language, and communication disorders to support academic success and functional communication skills. Key Responsibilities Deliver direct and indirect speech-language therapy services in accordance with student IEPs Conduct comprehensive evaluations and reassessments using standardized tools and clinical observations Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, school psychologists, and families Maintain accurate and timely documentation, progress reports, and compliance records Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary team meetings, and professional development Utilize evidence-based practices to support a diverse student population Provide support for a range of communication needs, including articulation, language, fluency, voice, and social/pragmatic skills Qualifications Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution Active Washington State SLP license or eligibility to obtain Washington State Educational Staff Associate (ESA) certification (or ability to obtain) CCC-SLP preferred; Clinical Fellows (CFs) encouraged to apply Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills Prior school-based experience preferred but not required Compensation & Benefits Competitive hourly or annual salary based on experience Health, dental, and vision insurance options Retirement plan options (e.g., 401(k) or state retirement system) Work Environment School-based setting serving elementary, middle, and/or high school students Collaborative and supportive multidisciplinary team Access to therapy materials, assessment tools, and district resources Manageable caseload (details provided during interview process) Compensation for this position ranges from $45.00 to $95.00.
