Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Make a meaningful impact supporting students' communication skills in a school setting as a Speech-Language Pathologist this coming academic year. Enjoy an engaging, onsite contract opportunity working with elementary and K-12 students while collaborating alongside SLPAs and fellow professionals. This position offers three unique openings—two in the Victorville area with K-6 student populations, and one in Needles with a K-12 caseload. Each SLP manages a caseload of around 55 students, with SLPA support to ensure a manageable workload. The need for occasional travel to remote school sites, with mileage reimbursement provided, invites variety into your week.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Active state license to practice as an SLP in California ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required California CTC Clear Credential required Previous school-based or pediatric SLP experience preferred Must provide up-to-date resume, specific interview availability, preference for location, and verifiable credentials
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver direct, onsite speech-language therapy to K-6 or K-12 student populations Collaborate effectively with teachers, administrators, and support staff Engage in IEP processes, including assessment, documentation, and reporting Supervise and support assigned SLPAs Travel on occasion to outlying school sites, with mileage reimbursed for longer trips As a valued member of this team, your expertise will enhance educational access and help students develop vital life skills.
