Job Description

Category Therapy - Skilled - SLP Job Type Contract Make an immediate impact as a Speech-Language Pathologist supporting ESY (Extended School Year) services in the vibrant San Francisco Bay Area. This contract opportunity allows you to apply your expertise with pediatric populations in school-based settings and collaborate with a team of dedicated educators and specialists. You'll provide direct therapy, evaluations, and consultations, utilizing your skills to help students achieve meaningful communication progress throughout the ESY term. Your dedication to evidence-based practices and your commitment to student success will be at the heart of your work.
Qualifications and Background:
Active California SLP license (CA SLP) Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) required Experience in school-based therapy, pediatric speech-language therapy, and knowledge of IEP processes Proficiency in delivering services in compliance with IDEA and state guidelines Prior ESY experience is a plus
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct speech and language assessments tailored to student needs Develop and implement IEP goals in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams Deliver individual and small group therapy sessions for students K-12 during ESY Maintain detailed records and progress notes in accordance with district standards Consult regularly with teachers, staff, and families to support generalization of skills Participate actively in eligibility and IEP meetings
