Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into an opportunity to make a direct impact on students' communication skills during an enriching Extended School Year (ESY) program running from June 16th to July 10th. This contract-based role is ideal for Speech-Language Pathologists passionate about empowering children in a supportive educational environment. The schedule is conveniently set, Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 1:00 PM, allowing for a balanced workday and meaningful client interactions.
Qualifications and Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC), Clinical Fellow Year (CFY), or eligibility for either Experience in working with pediatric populations, preferably in educational or school settings Strong assessment, intervention, and report-writing skills Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary school teams Familiarity with IEPs and documentation required for school-based services
Responsibilities:
Deliver speech and language therapy services to children using individualized education plans (IEPs) Screen, assess, and develop intervention plans tailored for students aged preschool through elementary Collaborate with teachers, families, and other professionals to maximize student outcomes Maintain accurate records of therapy, progress reports, and required compliance documentation Actively participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive learning atmosphere This summer assignment offers you the chance to work in a dynamic school-based setting, shaping young lives and honing your expertise—without the year-long commitment.
