Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Lend your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a vibrant educational setting near San Juan Bautista, CA! This rewarding full-time, contract opportunity spans the upcoming academic year (August 2026-June 2027, dates to be determined) and is ideal for professionals eager to make a positive difference among school-age students. This position is onsite only, and the district welcomes applications from travel SLP candidates.
Desired Qualifications:
Valid and active SLP license in the state of California Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required Prior experience working as an SLP within California schools preferred Bilingual Spanish/English proficiency strongly preferred Team-oriented, flexible, and committed to student-focused care
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to students in accordance with IEP goals Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of student speech, language, and communication needs Participate actively in IEP meetings, collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals Provide clear documentation and progress updates as mandated by the district and state guidelines Adapt approaches and techniques to meet the unique needs of a diverse student population Manage a caseload and school site(s) to be determined This assignment offers the opportunity to collaborate with a supportive network of educators and specialists while making a noticeable impact in students' daily lives.
