Job Description

Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into a fulfilling contract opportunity making a direct impact in the lives of students as a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) within a dynamic educational setting. This role offers the chance to support two colleagues out on leave, with two SLP positions available and start dates tentatively scheduled for mid-October and mid-November. You will provide services in an on-site capacity across schools in the San Juan Capistrano area, with specific school assignments to be determined. This role is full-time, requiring a five-day workweek, and offers the chance to work with students across varied age groups, ensuring you can utilize your expertise to address a broad range of communication needs.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Active California SLP license (required) Previous experience in a K-12 school setting is highly preferred Strong communication and collaboration skills Flexibility to adapt to changing assignments and caseloads Commitment to evidence-based, student-centered practices
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct therapy and intervention to students in accordance with IEP goals Conduct assessments and deliver accurate, timely documentation Collaborate with educators, families, and related service providers to support student progress Engage in team meetings and IEP development as appropriate Maintain compliance with all state and district policies Support a positive and inclusive school environment As an on-site SLP, you'll be a pivotal resource for your students' success and well-being during a crucial time.
