What you'll need to succeed: Valid licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in California School-based SLP experience, or strong clinical background with a desire to work in educational settings Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams Skilled at developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) Strong communication, organizational, and documentation abilities Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive learning environment Your role and daily impact: Provide speech and language therapy services to students across various age groups and need levels Evaluate, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing disorders within the school context Develop tailored treatment plans in collaboration with other professionals Maintain accurate and timely documentation and progress reports Offer support and recommendations to teachers and families to maximize student success Why consider this unique position?
