Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Bring your expertise in speech-language pathology to a welcoming school environment and make a tangible difference for students. As a traveling Speech-Language Pathologist, you'll partner closely with educators and families to support communication skills that are foundational for learning and social development. This contract position offers a dynamic workday with meaningful, student-centered impact. You'll have the chance to build strong relationships as you evaluate, develop, and implement individualized therapy plans for diverse learners from a range of backgrounds.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Active ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) Valid licensure for Speech-Language Pathology in California, or eligibility to obtain Previous experience working in school settings preferred Strong communication and organizational skills Compassion, flexibility, and a collaborative attitude
Primary Responsibilities:
Assess and diagnose students with speech, language, voice, or fluency disorders Develop and deliver individualized education program (IEP) goals Provide direct and consultative therapy services in accordance with IEPs Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families Maintain clear, timely documentation of student progress Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to student success
