Job Description

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting students as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist during a leave coverage for the upcoming school year. This flexible assignment runs from August 2026 through November/December 2026, providing the perfect chance to make a positive impact within a vibrant educational community. In this role, you'll bring your SLP expertise (CCC preferred) to a dynamic school environment, collaborating alongside SLPAs for an average caseload of 45 students. You will work 30 hours per week, Monday through Friday, giving you the balance to focus on both professional and personal priorities.
Qualifications:
Valid Speech-Language Pathology license and credentials for schools Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) is highly desirable Experience supporting students in a school setting Strong teamwork, communication, and organizational skills Ability to adapt approaches to meet diverse student needs Positive, proactive attitude and reliable work ethic
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students Conduct evaluations, develop individualized intervention plans Work collaboratively with teachers, SLPAs, and families Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports Support IEP meetings and contribute to student success plans
